CSKA youth player Viden Natsev became the big hero for France, which won the WEVZA qualification in Frankfurt and directly qualified for the 2027 U20 Men's European Championship.
The French defeated Italy 3:1 (25:15, 15:25, 25:15, 28:26) in the final of the tournament in Germany.
Viden Natsev played an exceptional match and finished as the top scorer in the final with 22 points. This also determined his selection as MVP of the final.

The French international, born in Bulgaria, scored 15 points from attack with 63% efficiency (15 of 24), added an impressive 5 aces and 2 more points from blocks.
Natsev was particularly effective from the serve, recording more aces himself than the entire Italian team, which finished the match with 4.
France started with a whirlwind and won the first set 25:15. Italy responded in the same way in the second set – 25:15, but the "Roosters" again took the initiative and won the third set 25:15.
The big battle was in the fourth set. Italy had the opportunity to force a tie-break, but France held on in the dramatic end and closed the set 28:26, and with that, the match 3:1 (25:15, 15:25, 25:15, 28:26).
The French finished with better attacking statistics – 43 successful attacks from 91 attempts (47%) against 36 from 90 (40%) for Italy. France also had an advantage from the serve with 8 aces against 4, while the Italians won the blocking battle 10:8.
For Italy, Germak Hotsevich was the top scorer with 11 points, while Jacopo Tosti and captain Pietro Carrera added 10 each.
