Zoran Terzic named Serbia's final 14 for Euro 2026

The head coach of the Serbian women's national team, Zoran Terzic, has named the final 14 volleyball players with whom the team will begin its participation in the European Championship.
Serbia arrived in Brno with 15 players, but according to CEV regulations, only 14 can be officially registered. Terzic's final decision is for Nadja Antonovic – the youngest Serbian national player, born in 2009 – to remain outside the roster.
Antonovic, however, will stay with the team in Brno and await her chance. In case of an injury, Serbia has the option for a medical replacement, and the young volleyball player could be included in the squad during the competition. Her presence with the national team at a major championship will also be valuable experience for her development.
Thus, Terzic will start the championship with two setters, two opposites, four outside hitters, four middle blockers, and two liberos.
Serbia's final 14:
Setters: Maja Ognjenovic, Sladjana Mirkovic
Opposites: Tijana Boskovic, Anja Zubić
Outside Hitters: Aleksandra Uzelac, Vanja Ivanovic, Branka Tica, Nina Čačić
Middle Blockers: Hena Kurtagic, Mina Popovic, Minja Osmajić, Ljubica Milojevic
Liberos: Aleksandra Jegdic, Bojana Gočanin
Serbia is in a group with Bulgaria, Austria, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Greece. The Serbian women will begin their participation in the tournament against Austria.
