It will be proposed that the Maritsa girls, who became European champions up to 18 years old, receive the Honorary Badge of Plovdiv

The three Maritsa players, who became European champions in women's volleyball up to 18 years old – Darina Naneva, Elisaveta Sarieva and Maria-Magdalena Nedyalkova, were solemnly welcomed in the building of Plovdiv Municipality by the mayor of the city Kostadin Dimitrov, the chairman of the Municipal Council - Plovdiv Atanas Uzunov and the deputy chairman of the Municipal Council - Plovdiv Stefan Posliyski, writes the official website of the club.

"Thank you very much for this victory. Plovdiv is proud of your successes. You can always count on the support of Plovdiv Municipality, and we will look forward to your next achievements," greeted the winners Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov.

At the meeting, which was also attended by the manager of Maritsa (Plovdiv) Boris Halachev, the champions showed their won gold medals and were awarded for their hard work and efforts and for glorifying Bulgaria and Plovdiv.

"Together with my colleagues from the Municipal Council - Plovdiv, we are proud of what you have achieved, and we unanimously decided to submit a proposal for you to receive the Honorary Badge of the city of Plovdiv. I wish you many more successes on behalf of the Municipal Council - Plovdiv," stated the chairman of the Municipal Council Atanas Uzunov.

Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov presented each contestant with the book "1000 Reasons to be Proud to be Bulgarians", expressing his admiration and describing their incredible performance as a cause for pride and joy for all of Bulgaria.
