Stage 7-8 of the SMS Grup Efeler Ligi playoffs has concluded. In the third and final match of the series, Spor Toto defeated Halkbank 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-15) and finished the season in 7th place, leading the series 2-1. Halkbank finishes the season in 8th place. After this poor end to the championship, Radostin Stoychev must motivate Leal and co. for their participation in the Champions League finals in Lodz, where they will face Italian champions Perugia in the first semi-final of the tournament. The match is on May 16th at 9 PM, Bulgarian time.
