Bulgaria opens its doors to fans for the first friendly match with the Czech Republic

The Bulgarian men's national team will give fans the opportunity to see live the team's first test match on the way to EuroVolley 2026. The "Lions" will face the Czech Republic on August 25 at 7:00 PM in "Arena SamElyon" in Samokov.
The match will be the only one of the two consecutive encounters between the rivals that will be open to the public. 2000 tickets are planned for the match, which will be sold online, as well as on-site on the day of the match.
The price for spectators over 19 years of age is 20 euros. For students between 7 and 18 years old inclusive, the ticket will cost 10 euros. Children up to 6 years old will enter for free, but without a separate seat provided for them.
Free entry is also provided for people in wheelchairs, while their companions will be able to use a 50% discount and purchase a pass for 10 euros.

The test match will be the first opportunity for Gianlorenzo Blengini and his staff to see the national players in a game situation during the training camp in Samokov. Bulgaria is in the initial stage of its preparation for the European Championship, and the two matches with the Czech Republic are part of the program before moving to the next phase.
However, only the first clash with the Czechs will be in front of spectators. A day later – on August 26 – the two teams will meet again in "SamElyon", but this time the control match will be behind closed doors.
After the completion of the training camp in Samokov, the "Lions"' preparation will continue with two more test matches. On September 1 and 2, Bulgaria will measure forces with Serbia in Sofia. Both matches with the Serbian national team will be closed to the public.
Thus, out of the four planned control matches against the Czech Republic and Serbia, fans will have the opportunity to attend only the match in Samokov on August 25.
