🏐 Georgi Seganov and Alanya Belediyespor finished the season in fifth place in Turkey! 🇧🇬🔥

Bulgarian international Georgi Seganov and his team ON Hotels Alanya Belediyespor triumphed in the decisive third match of the 5-6th place series in the SMS Group Efeler League, defeating Altekma 3:1 (20:25, 25:20, 25:20, 25:22). Thus, Seganov and his teammates secured participation in the Challenge Cup next season. 👏🌍

🔹 Decisive victory with comebacks and chaos in the hall

After losing the first set, Alanya Belediyespor's volleyball players made a strong comeback, winning the next three parts.Georgi Seganov started as a starter and directed the game in the first two sets, where he scored an ace.

On the other side, Dmitriy Bahov from Altekma scored 9 points, but his efforts were not enough to turn the tide.

🔹 Disturbances, ejections, and emptied stands

The match took place in an extremely tense and emotional atmosphere, with events escalating in the third and fourth sets:

  • Yellow cards were given to:
    – Ahmetcan Büyüköz (Alanya) – 2nd set
    – Maksim Buchulevich (Altekma) – 3rd set

  • Ejected from the match were:
    – Zihni Türkay (Assistant Coach of Altekma)
    – Miguel Gutierrez (Altekma player)
    – Ahmetcan Büyüköz (Alanya) – for a second infraction

🎭 In the fourth part, the situation completely spiraled out of control:
– Alanya's libero Ahmet rushed to the stands after a flying ball and flew into the fans
– A physical conflict followed between Halit Kurtuluş and Fatih Yormaz (Alanya) with spectators
– The stands were emptied, and the match was interrupted for 45 minutes
– Halit Kurtuluş and Fatih Yormaz were removed before the resumption of the match ⚠️

✅ Despite the drama, Alanya Belediyespor won the 75-minute game and closed the match with 3:1. With this, the club finished in 5th place in the Efeler League, and Altekma remained sixth. To participate in European tournaments, Altekma will have to win the Balkan Cup.
