Zenit (Kazan) became the champion of Russia for the third time in a row, after defeating Zenit (Saint Petersburg) with a score of 3:0 in the final match of the series. Micah Christenson played his last match for the Kazan team in the championship before moving to Verona.

In the first game, Saint Petersburg showed good defense with four blocks against Dmitry Volkov, but their attacks were not effective (41% against Kazan's 58%). Mikhailov stood out as the top scorer with 6 points.
In the second game, Zenit (Saint Petersburg) experienced serious difficulties in attack, achieving only 29% effectiveness in their attacks. Kazan dominated with blocking (6–2), and Christenson played an important role, stopping Yant's attacks.
In the third game, Kazan crushed their opponent with superior attacking, with Mikhailov finishing the match with 16 points at 62% efficiency.
Zenit (Kazan) won their 13th title in their history and once again demonstrated superiority in Russia. Now both teams will prepare for the Russian Cup in May.
