Neftochimik 2010 and Beroe with tickets for European tournaments

Volleyball players from VC Neftochimic 2010 secured their participation in the third strongest European club tournament – the Challenge Cup – for the 2025/2026 season. ✨
The Burgas team won bronze medals in the championship and will once again perform on the international stage! 🌍🔥

After Lokomotiv-Avia (Plovdiv) snatched a dramatic 3:2 victory in the semi-final series against CSKA, the final will pit the top two from the regular season against each other – Levski and Loko Plovdiv. Thus, the ranking remains unchanged and is also valid for the European quotas. ✅

🥉 Neftochimic 2010 – bronze medalist
🏐 Beroe 2016 – fourth in the standings

Both teams will represent Bulgaria in the Challenge Cup in the 2025/2026 season! 🇧🇬

Beroe's achievement is particularly exciting – a historic breakthrough and a serious step forward for the club from Stara Zagora! 🙌 Last autumn, the team played in the Balkan Cup final against Arkas Spor, but lost and failed to qualify for European tournaments. Now they get another chance for European glory! 💚🔥
🔙 In the past season, CSKA participated in the tournament, reaching the quarterfinals, but was eliminated by the Belgian Decospan Menen.
🔙 Neftochimic also participated and reached the 1/16 finals, where they lost to the Turkish SC Ankara.
Now the chance for a strong Bulgarian performance is in the hands of Neftochimic and Beroe! 💪
🏆 The winner of the Challenge Cup 2024/2025 trophy was Bogdanka Lublin – with Bulgarian national Alex Grozdanov in the squad! The team from Poland defeated the Italian giant Lube Civitanova, in whose ranks Alex Nikolov plays, in the final! 🔥

We eagerly await the Bulgarian teams in Europe! 💥
