Two of Bulgaria's opponents at EuroVolley 2026 – Serbia and the Czech Republic – played a friendly match in Belgrade. The European vice-champions won 3:1 (25:17, 19:25, 25:21, 25:19) after 92 minutes.

Serbia started convincingly and took the first set 25:17, but the Czech Republic responded with 25:19 for 1:1. Zoran Terzic's team again took the initiative and closed out the next two sets 25:21 and 25:19.
The top scorers for the winners were Tijana Bošković and Aleksandra Uzelac with 26 points each, while Hena Kurtagić added 9.
The match is of direct interest to Bulgaria, as both Serbia and the Czech Republic are opponents of our national team in Group B of EuroVolley 2026 in Brno. The group also includes Ukraine, Greece, and Austria.
Serbia and the Czech Republic will play another friendly, which will be a closed-door match.
