Volley Alba Blaj will enter directly into thegroup stage of the Champions Leaguethanks to Romania's 9th place in the CEV coefficient ranking (106.33 points). This is the last spot that gives a direct quota for the groups of the most prestigious European club tournament.

In addition,Romania is #1 in the overall CEV Cup and Challenger Cup rankingswith an impressive coefficient of 274.00 - ahead of traditionally strong volleyball nations like Italy, France, Germany, and Turkey.

And Hungary enters the Champions League group stage!

Although it is in 10th place in the CEV rankings and technically below the line,Hungary will also send a team directly to the Champions League group stageas Russia - occupying 4th position - remains out of European tournaments.
