After a 15-year break, Jastrzębski won back the Polish Cup

🏆 Jastrzębski has reclaimed its crown! After a 15-year hiatus and 7 lost finals, the Polish champions from JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel triumphed once again with the national Cup, defeating the previous holder Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie 3:1 (18:25, 25:22, 25:22, 30:28) in front of a record 14,157 spectators at Tauron Arena, Krakow! 🔥

🎯 Timothée Carle was unstoppable – 22 points, 59% attack efficiency, and a winning serve at the end of the fourth set! However, the MVP award went to Tomasz Fornal – stable in reception and a crucial factor throughout the match.

📉 Opposite hitter Łukasz Kaczmarek recorded only 8 points (31%), but Antoine Brizard compensated with aces and 12 points. Popiwczak shone in defense.

📈 A historic victory for Jastrzębski – their first trophy since 2010, revenge against Zawiercie for the loss in the 2024 final, and an end to the painful series of finals against ZAKSA, Skra, and Zawiercie.

🥁 A new duel between these teams is ahead – on May 17, they will face each other in a Champions League semifinal! And in a few days, the PlusLiga playoffs will start, where Jastrzębski will meet Lublin, and Zawiercie will meet Warsaw. Best-of-two series. 🔥
