Slovenia, led by Fabio Soli, comes with its best to Burgas

🔵 The Fabio Soli era officially begins at the helm of the Slovenian men's national volleyball team!
The Italian specialist, who currently coaches Itas Trentino - one of the top clubs in Europe 🏆, took over from Gheorghe Crețu (Romania) and announced an expanded squad of 23 players for the first phase of the 2025 season. The main focus will be on participation in the Nations League (VNL) and the upcoming World Championship.

💥 Among the selected players are a number of individuals who participated in the Paris 2024 Olympics and are part of major European clubs:

  • 🧠Dejan Vinčič - Slovenia's visionary setter and an Olympic veteran.

  • 🔥 Tine Urnaut - outside hitter, leader, and icon of the team, playing for Wolfdogs Nagoya (Japan), also with Olympic experience.🌪️ Rok Možič

  • - the star of Rana Verona in Italy and one of the brightest talents of the new generation.Rok Mozic – звездата на Rana Verona в Италия и един от най-ярките таланти на новото поколение.

  • 🎯 Ziga Stern - a representative of the strong Polish championship with the team ofSKRA Belchatow.

  • 💣 Tonček Štern - opposite hitter for the Turkish grandZiraat Bankasi.

  • 🧱 Jan Kozamernik - middle blocker, part ofItas Trentino, also a participant in the Paris Olympics.

  • " 🏋️‍♂️ Sašo Štalekar andRok Bračko (Paris Volley) are also among the well-known names on the international scene.

" ⚡ The squad also includes young hopes from leading Slovenian clubs - ACH Volley Ljubljana, Alpacem Kanal, and OK i-Vent Maribor - including Matej Kök, Luka Marovt, Žiga Kumer, and Urban Toman.


📍 IMPORTANT FOR BULGARIAN FANS – we will be able to see this strong team LIVE in Burgas, where Bulgaria will host one of the tournaments in the 2025 Nations League! 💥

Second week – Burgas, Bulgaria (June 25–29)

The matches will be played in "Arena Burgas" hall:

June 25, 7:30 PM – Bulgaria vs. Japan, 7:30 PM

June 27, 7:30 PM – Bulgaria vs. Slovenia 7:30 PM

June 28, 7:00 PM – Bulgaria vs. Turkey, 7:00 PM

June 29, 7:00 PM – Bulgaria vs. Ukraine, 7:00 PM


🗓️ Slovenia will start its VNL participation with a tournament in Rio de Janeiro (June 11-15), then comes to Burgas, before the final stage in Ljubljana (July 16-22), where they will host Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, and Serbia.

📆 Preparation starts on May 6 in Ljubljana.
