🏆 Ziraat Bankkart are the new champions of the CEV Cup tournament!
In Ankara, the Turkish team defeated Poland's Asseco Resovia 3:1 (20:25, 25:17, 28:26, 25:14) and triumphed with their first European trophy in their history!

📌 The Poles started strong and won the first set 25:20, led by the returning Bartosz Bednorz. But Ziraat responded appropriately – with blocking, aggression, and stellar play from Matthew Anderson and Wouter ter Maat.
💥 The second set was under complete control of the hosts (25:17), and in the third, Ziraat dramatically prevailed 28:26 after a strong serving run by Anderson. In the fourth set, the Turkish team left no chance – 25:14 and a decisive victory!

🔝 A historic success for Ziraat – their first European trophy, after previously losing finals in the CEV Cup and the Challenger Cup.
🌍 Matthew Anderson was the team's leader, supported by Vahit Savas and the revived Ter Maat. Anderson was named MVP of the final.

❌ Asseco Resovia failed to defend their final from last year and bid farewell to both the trophy and a chance for medals in the PlusLiga.
Polish teams lost the opportunity for a "triple crown" in Europe – Bogdanka Lublin won the Challenger Cup, but Resovia was eliminated, while Aluron Warta and Jastrzębski Węgiel are still fighting in the Champions League.
📉 A second heavy defeat for Poland against a Turkish club this season – after Halkbank Ankara eliminated PGE Project Warsaw in the Champions League, now Ziraat took the CEV Cup from Asseco Resovia.
