Poland solidified its position as one of the world's volleyball capitals after the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) officially announced that the Silesia region will host the Men's Club World Championship in 2026 and 2027.
The two consecutive editions of the competition will take place between December 15-20, with the Polish club Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie hosting the organization.
The competition will bring together the eight strongest club teams in the world, who will play a total of 16 matches in a battle for the title of world club champion.
The group stage matches of the 2026 championship will be held in Arena Katowice and Arena Sosnowiec, while the final phase, including the semi-finals, the bronze medal match, and the grand final, will take place in the Sports Hall in Częstochowa.

Granting the hosting rights for two consecutive years is further proof of Poland's leading role in world volleyball. The country traditionally organizes the biggest international tournaments, and local championships and clubs enjoy some of the highest attendances in the world.
Volleyball World emphasizes that the choice of Silesia is part of a long-term strategy for the development of club volleyball and for increasing its international popularity.
The organizers have not yet announced which clubs will participate in the championship, nor the schedule and ticket sales. This information is expected to be published at a later stage. The presence of Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie as the official host of the tournament suggests that the Polish club will most likely be among the participants in the Club World Championship, although the FIVB has not yet announced the official qualification criteria and the final list of teams.
The Club World Championship traditionally pits the champions and strongest teams from various continental confederations against each other, and in recent years it has established itself as the most prestigious club tournament in the international calendar.
