After a five-year hiatus, brothers Mirza and Adis Lagumdzija will reunite at the same club – this time for Fenerbahce Medicana. They last played together at Arkas Spor in the 2019-2020 season. The two Turkish internationals, with impressive careers behind them, will combine forces for new ambitions and trophies.

Mirza and Adis Lagumdzija: Together in the past, ready for new successes
Mirza Lagumdzija, born in 2001, is an outside hitter who began his career at Galatasaray, then moved to Arkas and most recently to Halkbank. At Halkbank, he is already working under the guidance of Bulgarian coach Radostin Stoychev. Mirza has won titles in the Challenger Cup, the European Golden League with the Turkish national team, and has accolades in the Balkan Cup and Turkish Cup.
The older brother, Adis Lagumdzija, an opposite hitter, has a long and successful career, having played for a number of leading clubs including Galatasaray, Arkas, Monza, Piacenza, Modena, and Lube Civitanova. Adis currently continues to play for Lube Civitanova, where he is a teammate of Bulgarian international Alex Nikolov. Now Adis could become a teammate with another Bulgarian - Denis Karyagin, if he remains with the team.
Rivalry with Bulgaria
The Lagumdzija brothers are part of the Turkish national team, and last year they played against the Bulgarian national team in the Volleyball Nations League in Ljubljana, where our boys won.
