Ventsi Ragin remains in Neftochimik, four players are being rumored for the new season
VC Neftochimik 2010 is pleased to announce that middle blocker Ventsislav Ragin remains with the team for the 2025/2026 season. Ragin, who turns 33 today, is an important part of the Burgas champions' squad and will continue to be a pillar in the team's defense. 🎉💪
Transfer rumors for the new season, partially confirmed
Unofficially, it is claimed that Neftochimik has ambitions to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season. Among the potential new signings, four players are mentioned – Martin Krastev from Pirin, Stefan Chavdarov from CSKA, Dmytro Dulgopolov from Loko Aviya, and Koko Balabanov from Montana. Each of them brings valuable experience and would contribute with their skills.
Montana confirmed that Balabanov will leave the team. CSKA, for now, neither confirms nor denies Chavdarov's transfer.
Dulgopolov, as a setter, could be a key addition to Neftochimik's game, while Balabanov, as an outside hitter, also has the potential to strengthen the team's attack. Also, Krastev and Chavdarov, as well-known figures on the Bulgarian volleyball scene, would provide stability and leadership to the squad. Lokomotiv confirmed that Dulgopolov admitted he signed with Neftochimik 20 days ago. The team's manager, Lyudmil Naydenov, was indignant that there was a potential for the two teams to face each other in the playoffs.
It is important to note that there will be changes in Neftochimik's squad after the departure of Dobri Dimitrov, at his request, which opens up opportunities for new signings in various positions on the court.
Ragin remains key for Neftochimik
Ventsislav Ragin continues to be an important part of Neftochimik and is expected to contribute with his experience in the future. The Neftochimik 2010 team remains ambitious for the next season, and its strategy for the new season seems strongly supported by its stable core players and new additions.
The coming months will show what new additions will join the squad of Bulgaria's six-time champions and what their results will be on the volleyball stage.
