SCMU Craiova is very close to the bronze medals from the men's championship. The Oltenians lead 2-0 in the small final, played against SCM Zalău.
Craiova won the second match more easily than the first, which was won 3:2 after more than 2 hours and 30 minutes of battle. In the second match, the Oltenians won 3:1 (26:24, 25:27, 25:20, 25:22) in a match that was balanced only in the first two sets. After that, the guests' response weakened and Craiova won without much emotion.
