Sofia will host the European Police Men's Volleyball Championship, which will take place from September 27 to October 4, 2026, under the auspices of USPE (European Sports Union of Police Organizations) and organized by the Sports Association - Ministry of Interior.
Eight national police teams will compete for the European title: Bulgaria, Greece, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, France, Luxembourg, and Italy.
The tournament will bring together some of the strongest police volleyball teams on the continent in the Bulgarian capital and will offer a week filled with high-quality matches, sportsmanship, and international cooperation between police services.

Hosting the championship is another major international volleyball event that Bulgaria will organize, providing an opportunity for Sofia to once again welcome a European tournament with the participation of eight countries. The organizers are expected to announce the match schedule, tournament format, and the venue for the championship in the coming days.
