Lube lost the first semifinal against champion Perugia

Perugia took a 1-0 lead in the semifinal series against Lube, after a convincing 3-0 home victory (25:22, 25:19, 25:22). The hosts dictated the tempo, allowing the guests to lead only a few times briefly during the match. The most effective player in the match was Adis Lagumdzija - 16 points (1 block, 5 aces), followed by the retired national team player Oleh Plotnytskyi - 14 (1 ace, 1 block), while Ben Tara and Semeniuk added 10 points each to the victory.Alex Nikolov played almost the entire match, with the exception of a few minutes in the third set, and finished with 10 points (2 blocks).

🔵 The first set was even until 21:21, but a serving run by Simone Giannelli turned the tide in favor of Perugia, and Kamil Semeniuk closed out the set.
🔵 The second set was controlled by the hosts, who kept Lube at a distance despite Lagumdzija's strong play (7 pts). The final point was scored by Sebastian Solé.
🔵 In the third set, Lube showed their teeth and took a 12:16 lead, but Perugia responded with great defense and serves. An ace from Semeniuk made it 18:19, and Colaci (MVP) shone in defense. Match point came after an out by Alex Nikolov.
