Tomorrow, the third and decisive quarterfinal match of the Polish Volleyball Championship will be played between ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and BOGDANKA LUK Lublin. The winner will qualify for the semifinals.
Unfortunately, both teams will be without key players due to injuries sustained or worsened during the second match of the series (played on April 1st), according to siatka.org:
ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle:Will play without their captainBartosz Kurek, who is suffering from back pain and did not participate in the second match.
BOGDANKA LUK Lublin:Will be without the Bulgarian middle blockerAlex Grozdanov, who suffered an ankle sprain during the second match.
Both players were important figures for their teams in the first match of the series (played on March 29th), but their health problems proved serious enough to rule them out of the decisive third encounter.
