Former Neftochimic 2010 assistant coach Aykut Aydin will continue his career with Romanian champion Dinamo (Bucharest). The Turkish specialist was officially presented as an assistant coach for the men's team, which will debut in the group stage of the Champions League in the 2026/27 season.

The 36-year-old Aydin worked at Neftochimic for the past two seasons. During this period, the Burgas team won the Bulgarian Cup in the 2025/26 season and finished third in the championship. Prior to that, he gained significant experience as a statistician at Hebar (Pazardzhik), as well as with the Bulgarian men's national team. He has also worked with the national teams of Turkey and Montenegro, and Dinamo notes that he was also part of the Saudi Arabian staff.
Dinamo defended its championship title in Romania and received a wild card for direct participation in the group stage of the Champions League. In Group B, the Romanian champion will face European champion Perugia, Turkish Ziraat Bank, and French Montpellier.
The Bulgarian connection with Dinamo continues into the new season. In the 2025/26 season, outside hitter Branimir Grozdanov wore the jersey of the Romanian champion, and now Aykut Aydin will be part of the team's staff in its historic first participation in the Champions League group stage.
