CSO Voluntari qualified for the final after a new victory over Dinamo 🏐🔥
The reigning champion of Romania, CSO Voluntari, will defend its title after defeating Dinamo with3-1(22-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22) in the decisive semifinal clash. Thus, the team secured another duel with Volei Alba Blaj, a repeat of last year's final.
Spectacular match with comebacks
Dinamo started the match better and took the lead after winning the first set 25-22. The team was aggressive in attack and effectively utilized their opponent's errors. In the second set, Voluntari improved its organization and took the initiative. The team imposed a better tempo, managing to limit Dinamo's strengths and leveled the score after 25-21.
The third set was key to the development of the match. Voluntari took an early lead and managed to maintain it, despite Dinamo's attempts to catch up. The champions' serve proved to be a decisive factor, as the team built up a lead and closed the set 25-20. In the fourth set, Dinamo tried to bring back the intrigue, and for a long time, both teams played point for point. However, Voluntari's greater stability in critical moments tipped the scales in their favor – 25-22, which meant the end of the series and qualification for the final.

The final between CSO Voluntari and Volei Alba Blaj will start with two matches in Blaj. The series will then move to Voluntari for the next two matches, and in case of a decisive fifth match, it will be played again in the Polyvalent Hall in Blaj.
Before that, however, the two teams will meet to dispute the Romanian Cup. The final is scheduled for Saturday, March 29.
Dinamo will play in the 3rd place final against Corona Brașov. This series will also be in a "best of five matches" format. The first two matches will be held in Bucharest, the next two – in Brașov, and the eventual decisive clash will be in the capital.
