"Lokomotiv Avia" awaits a top-class setter from abroad

In 2-3 days we will finalize negotiations with a top-class setter from abroad, announced "Lokomotiv Avia" manager Lyudmil Naydenov to the club's social media. The negotiations are in their final phase and only the signature of both parties is expected. "We have agreed on all terms with the boy and he will start preparation with us. We are not announcing the name only because we have not completed the formality of signing the contract. After all, until there is a signature from both sides - anything can always happen. Otherwise, we are talking about an experienced playmaker who is a national team member of his country and we are waiting for him for the start of preparation in Plovdiv. We wanted the team to be entirely composed only of Bulgarians, but for a number of reasons, we had to turn to the foreign market," added Naydenov.

"So far, we have only loaned Lyubomir Yankov to "Dunav" and Georgi Bachvarov to "Beroe 2016". There is interest in other players of ours, but nothing concrete to announce them. That's why I don't want to announce names, because the interest is only in words. We will wait another 5-6 days for concrete offers and then we will evaluate. We are looking for a top-class middle blocker and I am having discussions because we want to have a blend of experience and youth in every position. At this stage, we will only have one player from abroad, but if we fail to reach an agreement with a Bulgarian in the middle, we may have to look abroad," concluded Naydenov.
