Bogdanka LUK Lublin finished the regular season in PlusLiga in fourth place after defeating Cuprum Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski 3:1 (25:22, 25:20, 23:25, 25:19). The team will have home court advantage in the playoffs against ZAKSA.
Alex Grozdanov played a strong match, recording 10 points, 4 blocks, and an impressive 86% in attack.
Lublin won the Challenge Cup a few days ago, and now they are chasing new successes in the championship and the Polish Cup. In Wilfredo Leon's absence, Massimo Botti's team showed class, led by Mikołaj Sawicki - 14 points and Kevin Sasak - 12. The guests took the third set, but Bogdanka LUK closed the match in four sets. A finger problem on Leon's left hand, which was taped (he played like this in the Civitanova final, editor's note), was the reason for him to rest, as he briefly entered the third set to serve, which he missed.

For Cuprum Stilon, this was their ninth consecutive loss, with the team finishing the season in 12th place.
Bogdanka LUK returns to play on Saturday for the first quarterfinal clash with ZAKSA.
