The exciting Dubai tournament for Grottazzolina continues with another success at the NAS Sports Tournament. After successfully completing Group B with a perfect record, the team from Marche is preparing for a semi-final against Padova, which will take place on March 18 at 8:00 PM Bulgarian time. Their victory in the last match against Fohod Zabeel (Shakhtyor Soligorsk) proves that the team is in excellent form and ready to fight for even greater achievements.
Grottazzolina started with strong performances in the first set, as Fedrizzi and company managed to overcome difficulties and close the set with 29-27. The second set was in their favor with 25-17, with an excellent performance by Antonov and Fedrizzi increasing their lead. In the third set, after giving opportunities to substitute players to show their skills, Grottazzolina fell behind 19-25, but the fourth set was decisive and they finished with 25-18, securing their place in the semi-finals.
Denis Bardarov entered the game for the first time in almost a month and played an important role in closing out the fourth set for the final score of 25-18.. Bardarov finished with 8 points.
Grottazzolina's next challenge will be against Padova, and given their impressive performance, they will be fully prepared to fight for a spot in the grand final.
