Economic incentives for the use of athletes of national interest have been approved
In response to the project to promote the use of athletes of national interest, the Federal Council of the Italian Volleyball Federation, at the suggestion of the two technical directors of the men's national teams Ferdinando De Giorgi and Vincenzo Fanizza, approved a list of players aged between 18 and 22 years old, whom men's clubs regularly use in Serie A championship matches, and who will therefore receive economic incentives.
The total contribution granted is €200,000.00, distributed as follows:
€20,000.00 SuperLega;
€15,000.00 Serie A2;
€10,000.00 Serie A3.

This decision by the Federal Council regarding economic incentives is important for the development of young talents in Italian volleyball. By stimulating the use of athletes of national interest, Serie A clubs can give young players a chance to perform at a high level. Such an approach can contribute to greater attention to young talents and support their growth in professional volleyball.
