Italian giants Lube Civitanova announced that on July 29 (Wednesday) at 19:00 local time, the official presentation of the team's new addition – Bulgarian international Simeon "Moni" Nikolov – will take place.
The event will be held at the Arturo Mare beach complex (beach No. 15) on the Lungomare Sud promenade in Civitanova Marche and will have free admission for all interested.
The club announced that the Bulgarian setter, who arrives in Italy after participating with the national team in the Volleyball Nations League alongside his brother Aleksandar Nikolov, will be available to media and fans for meetings, photos, and autographs.
Interestingly, Simeon Nikolov's official presentation will take place precisely during the national team's short break. After their participation in the Volleyball Nations League, the Bulgarian internationals received a break until August 2, and on August 3, they will resume their preparations for the European Championship. Lube used this period to officially introduce one of the most promising young setters in world volleyball.
In the 2026/27 season, Simeon Nikolov will play for Lube alongside his older brother Aleksandar Nikolov. The Bulgarian tandem will be among the biggest attractions in the Italian giants' squad, which will compete for trophies in Serie A, the Italian Cup, the Champions League, and the Club World Championship.
