Another Bulgarian woman will join the Turkish volleyball elite and compete in the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi from next season. This is the captain of the Bulgarian women's national team, Miroslava Paskova. Her Papara Göztepe team defeated Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediye (İBB) today with a score of 3-2 (25-23, 24-26, 17-25, 25-20, 15-11) in the last match of the final playoff stage of the KFC Women's First League, which concluded today in Alanya. Paskova's team entered this match with 1 win and 1 loss, and practically the outcome of the last game determined their promotion to the elite league. After exchanging one set each, the IBB team took the lead in the score and forced Papara Göztepe to use all their strength and take the match to a tie-break, which they won 15:11.
