Domotek Reggio Calabria strengthened its squad before the playoff quarterfinals for promotion to Serie A3, attracting young setter Boris Georgiev (born 2005). This was announced by the authoritative websitevolleyball.it.

The 200-cm tall Georgiev played for VC Cherno More BАSК last season, where he was the second setter behind Estonian international Markus Keel. After the end of the season, he moved to Italy, where he is currently studying.

He is now ready for his playoff debut, replacing the injured Lorenzo Esposito.
