The new season in the Italian Serie A2 Credem Banca will offer a total of eight matches with Bulgarian participation. Six of our volleyball players will defend the colors of four different clubs, which guarantees four "Bulgarian" clashes in the first half of the season and another four return matches after the New Year.
The most anticipated match is in the very first round of the championship. On October 18, Essence Hotels Fano, with Stoil Palev and Denis Karyagin, will host JV Gioia del Colle, where Boris Nachev and Vladimir Garkov play. Thus, four Bulgarian national players will face each other right at the start.

December 6, 2026 – Consar Ravenna – JV Gioia del Colle

January 31, 2027 – Consar Ravenna – Conad Reggio Emilia
February 28, 2027 – JV Gioia del Colle – Consar Ravenna
March 27, 2027 – Consar Ravenna – Essence Hotels Fano
The Serie A2 season starts on October 18, and a week earlier, on October 11, the Italian Supercup will be played between Abba Pineto and Consoli Sferc Brescia. The regular season ends on April 11, 2027, after which the first eight teams proceed to the playoffs for promotion to Superlega, and the last two are relegated. The playoff quarterfinals start on April 14, the semifinals on April 25, and the final series begins on May 9.
The Italian Cup tournament for Serie A2 teams will be held among the best eight teams after the first half of the regular season. The quarterfinals are scheduled for January 13, the semifinals for February 3, and the final will be played on March 7.
Thus, in the 2026/27 season, Bulgarian fans will not only have six compatriots in the second tier of Italian volleyball but also a total of eight direct clashes between them, with the very first round offering the largest Bulgarian derby involving four of our volleyball players.
