After parting ways with Radostin Stoychev, Verona announced an interim coach – Dario Simoni. He has already conducted his first training session, assisted by Alessandro Marchesan. This was reported by volleyball.it.
Simoni, who was previously invited to take over the team after the events in Civitanova, accepted the challenge this time:
"I am taking on this task with commitment and dedication. I am grateful for the trust and convinced that with this great team, we will continue to work in one direction."
Verona is preparing for the decisive playoff clash against Piacenza on Sunday, having already fallen behind 0-1 in the series. Simoni will remain at the helm until the end of the season, after which Fabio Soli will officially take over the team, according to the authoritative volleyball.it.
We remind you that Soli is already the coach of the Slovenian men's team.
