Bulgarian national girls' teams U16 and U17 concluded their participation in the Balkan Championships with bronze medals. Evelina Tsvetanova's team finished third in Grevena (Greece), while Anton Vasiliev's squad ranked third in Ferizaj (Kosovo). Both teams recorded three wins in their five matches and deservedly climbed onto the podium.
Bulgaria U16
The U16 national team finished the tournament with a record of 3 wins, 2 losses, and 10 points. In their last match, Evelina Tsvetanova's girls defeated Montenegro 3:1 and secured the bronze medals.

With this record, Bulgaria finished in third place behind Turkey and Greece, who are playing the last match of the championship this evening.

Bulgaria U17
The U17 national team also won bronze medals, concluding the competition with 3 wins, 2 losses, and 9 points. In their last match, Anton Vasiliev's proteges lost to Montenegro 0:3.

With this record, Bulgaria finished in third place behind Turkey and Montenegro.

Individual recognition for the performance of our national team went to Magdalena Bogdanova, who was selected as the best libero of the Balkan Championship.

The two bronze medals are yet another proof of the potential of the young Bulgarian volleyball players. Both teams showed consistency and character during the tournaments, recorded three victories in their five matches, and deservedly ranked among the medalists at the Balkan Championships.
