First losses for Polish clubs in European competitions

The first matches of the men's Champions League quarter-finals have concluded. Yesterday, in addition to Perugia's 3-1 victory over Vero Volley Monza, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie achieved success on the court of the Germans from Lüneburg, which sets a serious stake for entering the Final Four in Łódź.
However, the surprise is a fact, and two of the Polish clubs suffered their first losses in European tournaments this season! ❌🏐

🔹 Jastrzębski Węgiel lost to the indomitable Greek Olympiacos Piraeus with a score of 2:3 in the first quarter-final match of the Champions League."The Bulgarian" son-in-law, Aleksandar Atanasijević, finished with 17 points (3 aces, 1 block).
