The Bulgarian Women's U17 National Team recorded its first loss at the Balkan Championship in Ferizaj (Kosovo). Anton Vasiliev's team lost to Turkey 0:3 (14:25, 15:25, 19:25) in the direct clash for the top of the standings. Before this match, Bulgaria and Turkey shared first place with three wins from three matches each. After the victory, the Turkish team remained the sole leader, while the Bulgarians will fight for medals in the remaining matches. Our next opponent is Montenegro, which occupies the third position before its last match of the day against Moldova.

Adriana Alexieva was the top scorer for Bulgaria with 8 points, and Anna Marie Chomakova added 7. Before the defeat, our national team recorded three consecutive 3:0 victories against Albania, Moldova, and Kosovo.
