Neftochimic 2010 continues to invest in its future, having attracted two of the most promising young volleyball players in Bulgaria. The winner of the Bulgarian Cup and the country's vice-champion signed contracts with the U17 national team members Milko Bagdasarov and Veli Sezgin.
Among the new additions, the name of Milko Bagdasarov stands out. Just days ago, he won a bronze medal with the Bulgarian national team at the European Championship for U18 men in Porto San Giorgio (Italy), despite being two years younger than most of the participants in the championship.
Outside hitter Bagdasarov arrives in Burgas from Arda (Kardzhali), while Veli Sezgin was previously a player for Khan Asparuh (Isperih). Both were born in 2011, are 193 centimeters tall, and are part of the Bulgarian U17 national team.
Neftochimic 2010 president Ognyan Tomov personally signed the contracts with the two players in Stara Zagora, where the national team is currently holding a training camp.
"These are two of the most talented children at this age. I am very happy that we attracted them," Tomov stated.
Bagdasarov and Sezgin signed contracts for sports training until they reach adulthood. They will train with Neftochimic 2010's men's team, while simultaneously strengthening the club's youth formations.
"Both were born in 2011 and are 193 cm tall. These are young and promising players with very good physical attributes and serious potential for development. We will give them the opportunity to gradually adapt to the demands of men's volleyball and develop in the right environment," stated Neftochimic 2010's head coach and sports director Ivan Stanev.
Stanev is also the coach of the Bulgarian U17 national team, which is currently holding a camp in Stara Zagora. In August, the team is set to participate in the Balkan Championship in Albania and the World Championship in Qatar.
By attracting Milko Bagdasarov and Veli Sezgin, Neftochimic 2010 has secured two of the most promising Bulgarian volleyball players of this generation, with one of them already a bronze medalist from a European Championship in an older age group.
