Volleyball sometimes witnesses unusual events, such as unexpected coaching changes. Recently, Italian coach Alessandro Chiappini was released by the Polish women's volleyball club ŁKS Commercecon Łódź, even though his team was at the top of the standings with 53 points, tied with Rzeszów, but with one match fewer. Under his leadership, the team achieved 17 wins and suffered only 3 losses.

Zbigniew Bartman, a former Polish volleyball player who has served as the club's sporting director since mid-February, has been appointed to replace Chiappini. This appointment is interesting because Bartman is the fiancé of one of the team's key players, outside hitter Zuzanna Górecka. The former volleyball player has no coaching experience and from now on must lead a team fighting for the Polish title. Polsat Sport expert Jakub Bednaruk drew attention to this.
Bartman is known for his rich playing career, having played for numerous clubs in various countries and been part of the Polish national team. Bulgarian fans' memory of him is connected to his participation in "Drużyna Polska" (Polish Team), as he called them "shepherds" after the 2012 World League semi-final in Sofia, when Poland defeated Bulgaria. Now he will lead ŁKS Commercecon Łódź until the end of the season, hoping to maintain the team's leading position in the championship.
