The champions fromMaritza (Plovdiv)won a record tenth title in the Demax League. The team led by Borislav Krachanov defeated CSKA with3:0 (25:17, 25:20, 25:15)in their third final match, played in the "Hristo Botev" hall in the capital. Thus, the champions won the playoff series 3:0 and defended their title for the tenth consecutive year. With this, they also broke their own record. The "Reds" finished with silver medals for the third consecutive year. Yulia Ivanova's girls played their third consecutive final against the "yellow and blues". The two teams faced each other for the sixth time this season - and all six times the Plovdiv girls triumphed - in the Cup final and twice in the regular season in the elite and three times in the final playoff.
