Their friendship began nearly 20 years ago, and of course, it was brought together by him - His Majesty Volleyball. The two became the main driving force of the national team. Over the years, together they went through everything - victories, losses, injuries, ups and downs...
Over the years, their paths at club level diverged. Often they were in different parts of the world, butthey never gave up on each other.
To fulfill your biggest dream
Their friendship is their secret strength. Together they go through sleepless nights and exhausting training sessions. They are side by side when they meet their loved ones and give each other courage when they have to say that "yes" that changes their lives.
Today, the two have even greater motivation. Hristo and Teo are their fulfilled dreams.
Elitsa does not hide that it is difficult for her in Istanbul, far from her beloved Aleksandar. Atanasijevic is one of the best Serbian volleyball players, and currently he defends the colors of Olympiacos and lives in Athens.
"Elitsa is a top-level volleyball player. She has given a lot to volleyball and has a lot more to give. The most important thing is that she wants to play, and as long as that is the case, she will have my full support. Of course, it would be best if we played in the same city, but in volleyball there aren't many such teams. We had to make this compromise to be separated. These were difficult decisions.
She is a unique woman!
For one day she has two training sessions,24 hours she is with our son Teo, takes care of him and raises him very well. I think Elitsa is the ideal woman and together we are perfect! He knows that I rarely give compliments, but I want to tell her that I admire everything she has done in sports, and now she proves how great she is as a woman and mother," confesses the man who stole our Elitsa's heart.
Etzi and Hristi live side by side, and household chores are not at all foreign to them. They love to cook and take care of their loved ones, and one of their favorite activities is to make banitsa.
True friendship between women is that haven where you don't need to prove anything, because you are already understood. It is a voice that reminds you that you can, when you yourself doubt.
