Gergana Kyoseva and Alex Milanova in the semifinals in Romania

Dinamo Bucharest and Corona Brașov formed the semi-final four in Division A1.

Dinamo Bucharest secured a place in the semi-finals, after once again leaving no chances to their city rivals from Rapid and achieving a categorical 3:0 (25:18, 25:16, 25:18) victory. Miloš Gavrilović's team will face Voluntari and Mira Todorova in the first semi-final match, which will be played in the Romanian capital next weekend. Gergana Dimitrova finished with 4 points for the winners, recording 67% positive reception. Lora Kitipova failed to score, despite making 4 attacks, but her teammates were helpless against Dinamo.

Corona Brașov writes history, after reaching the semi-finals of Division A1 for the first time. However, Ciprian Dărnescu's team had to go through serious emotions. The Transylvanians took a 2:0 lead against CSM Lugoj, but the opponent brought back the intrigue by winning the third set. In the fourth part, Brașov had a chance to close the match at 24-23, but allowed an equalizer. In the end, Corona Brașov put an end to the dispute with 26-24 and secured a semi-final clash against Volei Alba Blaj - the champion from the regular season. Mirala Shahpazova scored 2 points (1 block), and Alex Milanova was more effective, recording 14 points (2 blocks) and 65% positive reception. Galina Karabasheva recorded 60% positive reception. Thus, Corona will meet Alba Blaj and Monika Krusteva in the semi-finals.

The semi-final series will be played according to the "best of three victories" system.
Dinamo qualified for the semi-finals, where they will play against the champion, CSO Voluntari. It is important that two of the three matches (if a third is reached) will be played in Dinamo's hall! Regardless of the result, both semi-finalists secured a place in European club tournaments in the 2025/2026 season. On the other hand, Rapid will play in the 5th place semi-final against CSM Constanța. Two of the three matches (if a third is reached) will be played in the coastal city.
