Neftochimik regained second place after a convincing victory over Hebar

The volleyball players of Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas) recorded a convincing 3:0 (25:22, 25:14, 25:11) victory against Hebar (Pazardzhik) in the 20th round of Efbet Supervolley, played in front of 240 spectators in the "Boycho Branzov" hall. The team, led by Italian coach Francesco Cadeddu, returned to second place in the standings after Lokomotiv Avia's loss to Cherno More and now has 40 points - two more than Naiden Naidenov's team.

The Match:

The first set started with an ace by Simeon Topuzliev for Hebar, but then Neftochimic 2010 took the initiative and benefited from blocks by Krasimir Georgiev. By the end of the set, Neftochimic managed to reach set point, closing the set with 25:22.

In the second set, Neftochimic imposed complete dominance, with the difference growing rapidly thanks to consistent attacks by Truhchev and Krustev, and after errors by Hebar, the set ended 25:14.

The third set was entirely under the control of Neftochimic 2010, who, with blocks and service from Krustev, achieved an undeniable 25:11 victory, closing the match in 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Neftochimic 2010's center, Ventsislav Ragin, earned the Player of the Match (MVP) award in the decisive 3:0 victory over Hebar. The 200-centimeter Sofia native, who will turn 33 in a month, showed exceptional form, being 100% in attack - he successfully executed 6 out of 6 attacks, and also added three point-scoring blocks 🛡️.
