The champions from Maritsa (Plovdiv) recorded their 17th consecutive success in the National Volleyball League, after defeating CPVK with 3:0 (25:15, 25:15, 25:17) as hosts in the "Stroitel" hall.

With this victory, Maritsa secured first place in the standings after the regular season, with 49 points and one round before the end, they are untouchable at the top of the standings, with 6 points more than second-placed Levski. CPVK remains fourth with 26 points.

Ahmetcan Erşimşek's volleyball players showed serious superiority throughout the match. They started the match with a strong beginning, opening an early lead of 9:3, which they gradually increased to 19:8 during the first set and won the first set without problems with 25:15.

The second set developed in a similar way, after an even first few minutes, the champions increased their lead to 10 points at 16:6, which decided the final outcome of the set. It also went to Maritsa, after winning 25:15.

In the third set, the guests from CPVK tried to resist, but again the "yellow-blues" imposed their will for the final success with 25:17.

In the other match of the 17th round, CSKA defeated Maritsa 2022 with 3:0 sets as guests.
