Bulgarian international Nikolay Kolev and his PAOK (Thessaloniki) secured a spot among the top four teams in the Greek Cup tournament! The team led by Joshko Milenkoski eliminated AONS Milon after a 3:1 (25:17, 25:20, 20:25, 25:19) victory in a quarterfinal clash.
Kolev was one of the key players for the success, finishing with 15 points, including 6 blocks – an indicator of his stability at the net. The most productive player for PAOK was former Hebar player Aleksandar Lyaftov with 17 points (3 aces, 1 block), and Dimitris Mouchlias added 13 points (2 aces, 1 block).
The Final Four in Arta is approaching!
With this victory, PAOK secured a place in the Final Four, which will take place in the city of Arta between March 28 and 30. We remind you that this city hosted the preliminary group of our silver medalists from the U20 Men's European Championship in the summer of 2024!
So far, Panathinaikos (Athens) and Olympiacos (Piraeus) are also among the semifinalists. The last semifinalist will become clear after the matches Olympiacos – Floisvos (05.03) and Kifisia – OFI (06.03).
The draw for the semifinals will be held on March 6 at 12:00 PM at the offices of the Greek Volleyball Federation (EOPE).
