The Plovdiv team is now ready with its opposite hitters.

As we atvolleyweek.bgwere the first to inform you exactly a week ago – on July 2nd – that the "Lokomotiv Avia" team was acquiring the left-handed Julien Georgiev, today the club officially presented the opposite hitter on their Facebook page.

Julien Georgiev is well-known in Bulgaria from his stints with "Dobrudzha 07" and "Montana Volley," and last year he played for the French "Saint Quentin." The two-meter tall opposite holds the record for the most points scored in a single match in the domestic elite, after recording 42 points in a match against "Cherno More" in 2022.

The other new addition at the opposite hitter position for the Plovdiv team is Kristiyan Kirov. The 20-year-old volleyball player comes from "Levski" Sofia, where he debuted at 18. Last year, the player was on loan to "Minior" Pernik.

"Lokomotiv Avia" announced that in the coming weeks, more new players will be brought in and announced, who will delight the audience in Plovdiv.
