Christian Titriyski unstoppable in attack for second victory in Hawaii against UC Irvine

Bulgarian talent Kristian Titriyski played a key role for the University of Hawaii team, which defeated UC Irvine 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-20) in a regular season match of the US collegiate championship. This was the "Rainbow Warriors'" second consecutive victory against the opponent, solidifying their strong form.

Titriyski - unstoppable in attack

The 19-year-old outside hitter from Sofia was a true star on the court.Titriyski finished the match with 24 points (1 ace, 4 blocks) and an impressive 57.1% attacking efficiency.This was his second consecutive great match, as he was also among the top scorers in the first match of the series. In the two matches against UC Irvine, he recorded a total of 36 attack points with 41.7% success, proving he is one of the team's leading scorers.

Hawaii dominates with blocking and serving

In addition to Titriyski's solid attack, Hawaii also controlled the match with excellent defensive play. The "Warriors" finished with 11 blocks, with French middle blocker Louis Sakaoko contributing six. Furthermore, the team recorded seven aces, two of which were by Sakaoko.

UC Irvine started strong and even led 19-16 in the first set, but Hawaii showed character and went on a 7-1 run, turning the score around. In the remaining two sets, the "Warriors" gave the opponent no chance, taking an early lead and maintaining control of the game.

After this convincing victory, Hawaii (15-1) continues to be among the best teams in the USA. The next challenge for the Bulgarian and his teammates is a match against Lindenwood, which will be played on March 5.
