SCMU Craiova's volleyball players took a 1-0 lead in the playoff series against Steaua after a 3-1 (25-23, 27-25, 22-25, 25-18) victory in the first match played in Bania! 🏐 The Oltenians played an incredible match, demonstrating strong spirit and fighting for every point to come out on top. 💪

• Steaua started well, taking a 5-1 lead, but Craiova quickly got back into the game and tied the score. 🔄 In a tense first set, after a 23-23 tie, Craiova capitalized on Steaua's errors and took the lead in the match. 🔥

  In the second set, Steaua started dominantly, leading 11-2. The home coach Dănuț Pascu called a timeout ⏸️, after which Craiova made an incredible comeback and won the set in overtime with 27-25, taking a 2-0 lead. 🏆

  The third set was very contested, with Steaua managing to get back into the game, winning the set 25-22. 😤 However, Craiova was very strong in the fourth set, winning 25-18 and closing the match 3-1. ✨
