After Alba Blaj won the first match of the 1/4 finals of the women's championship in Romania against Târgoviște with 3:0 yesterday, the second match was played today. And in it, the team of Monika Krasteva was again the ultimate winner, this time with 3:1 (25-15, 23-25, 27-25, 25-15).

The second match did not go as smoothly for Alba Blaj as the first one. Now the Târgoviște team put up much greater resistance. They won the second set with 25-23, and in the third, they led 23-20 and missed two chances to make the score 2:1. In the end, the more experienced team of Krasteva and co. managed to close out the series and is now thinking about the CEV Cup semi-final against Hungarian Vasas on March 4th in Budapest.Monika Krasteva finished with 8 points (1 ace, 1 block).
