Trentino Itas qualified for the semifinals of the CEV Cup 2025, after decisively outplaying the French Chaumont VB 52 with a 3:0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-18) victory in the quarter-final second leg. The Italian powerhouse, led by Fabio Soli, imposed technical and tactical superiority over the team of former Bulgaria coach Silvano Prandi, winning the match with powerful serving, stable blocking, and effective attacking (56%).

Setter Sbertoli was chosen as MVP, while opposite Kamil Rychlicki (14 pts.) and Alessandro Michieletto (13 pts.) were the main scorers. After the 3:1 victory in France two weeks ago, Trento only needed two sets to guarantee their progression, but the team gave no chance to their opponent and finished the match with a decisive 3:0.

In the semifinals, Trento will face Turkish Ziraat in a battle for a spot in the final.
