Romeo Sorrento achieved a historic success, winning their first trophy – the Del Monte® Italian Cup A3. The team from Campania defeated Personal Time San Donà di Piave with a convincing 3:0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-17) in the final, played in Longarone.

Sorrento demonstrated superiority in all aspects of the game, with three players finishing with double-digit points – Paul, Baldi, and Fortes (10 points each). Although Gianotti was the top scorer with 11 points for San Donà, it was not enough to stop the solid play of the new champions.

A key figure in the final was Stefano Patriarca, who dominated at the net and was deservedly chosen as the Del Monte® MVP. An interesting detail is thatthe Italian middle blocker wore the jersey of Burgas DEYA in the 2022/23 season, and now was a main driving force behind Sorrento's triumph.
