Radostin Stoychev will continue to lead Halkbank through the 2026/27 season. The Turkish powerhouse officially announced that the Bulgarian specialist remains at the helm of the team for the new campaign.
For Stoychev, this will be his second consecutive season at the helm of Halkbank in his current tenure with the club. The Bulgarian specialist previously led the Turkish powerhouse during the 2013/14 season, when, together with Matey Kaziyski, he won the league title, the Turkish Cup, and the Turkish Super Cup, and the team also reached the Champions League final.

In their official announcement, Halkbank stated that Stoychev will continue the work on building the squad for the new season and, together with the coaching staff and players, will prepare the team to achieve its set goals.
Matey Kaziyski remains in the squad, while new additions include Bulgarian international Denislav Bardarov and Belgian outside hitter Sam Deroo. Thus, in the new season, Halkbank will feature a strong Bulgarian presence both in the coaching position and within the squad.
