The Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) has officially outlined its future. The 47th National Assembly, the most anticipated institutional forum for the four-year period, concluded at the Palacongressi in Rimini, where Giuseppe Manfredi was re-elected as President of FIPAV for the 2025-2028 term. The event gathered exceptional participation from the Italian volleyball movement, with 3138 accredited clubs out of a total of 3484 eligible to vote (90.07%).
Immediately after the announcement of his re-election, President Manfredi expressed great enthusiasm and gratitude, emphasizing the value of the presence and support received: "The least I can tell you is thank you. Now comes the good part. I am thrilled to see so many of you at this National Assembly. It's incredible to see our entire world here: the clubs, the managers, the people who make our Federation great. Thank you not only for the work we have done so far but also for what we still need to do together."
The Assembly confirmed the solidity and unity of the national volleyball movement, also electing the new Federal Council, which will lead FIPAV towards the challenges of the Olympic four-year period, culminating in the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
Manfredi emphasized the fundamental role of territorial structures and his commitment to remaining close to the clubs: "I hope to continue to be exactly as I have always been, close to all of you. With the help of the regional presidents, I want to visit all the clubs to hear their needs and support their work."
The President also expressed words of appreciation for the outgoing Federal Council: "Everyone was exceptional and helped me tremendously. They did an excellent job and, although in different roles, will continue to be close to our wonderful world."

Two-day historic forum for the future of Italian volleyball
The two-day work at Palacongressi in Rimini marks a historic moment for the entire Italian volleyball movement. The event was enriched by the presence of prominent representatives from the international and national scene, including FIVB President Fabio Azevedo, CEV Managing Director Vuk Karanovic, Women's Volleyball League President Mauro Fabris, and Men's Volleyball League President Massimo Righi. There is no information whether the President of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation was present, as today he was supposed to be in Cuneo, where he used to be a player, and was invited to a charity evening.
There was also great participation from national and territorial structures, as well as institutional partners of FIPAV, who brought the Commercial Village to life with their stands: DHL, Suzuki, Erreà, Adidas, Aia Aequilibrium, BPER Banca, Trentino, Ennova, Regione Emilia Romagna, Mikasa, Molten, Freddy, Wilson, and Decathlon.
With the election of the new Federal Council and the approval of the changes to the Statute, FIPAV looks with determination to the future, with the aim of consolidating the role of Italian volleyball at an international level and guiding the movement towards the challenges that will culminate with the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
"We are a great Federation. Thank you above all for what we still have to do. With everyone's support, we will continue to build the future of Italian volleyball together" - concluded Manfredi, officially launching a new cycle for FIPAV.
